Russians demonstrate the most positive attitude towards the current Russian President Vladimir Putin, LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky ranked second, Pavel Grudinin nominated by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) ranked third, according to a survey conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center published on its website.

According to the poll, 75% of respondents demonstrate a positive attitude towards Putin, Zhirinovsky (13%) and Grudinin (10%). The candidates from Yabloko Grigory Yavlinsky and the Civil Initiative Ksenia Sobchak have 2%, Boris Titov - 1%. 10% of respondents said that they like no one and 6% found it difficult to answer.

59% of survey participants said that "in general" they are negative about Ksenia Sobchak. 16% of Russians said about a negative attitude towards Zhirinovsky and Yavlinsky, 6% - towards Putin and Titov. 8% of the respondents do not like Grudiin. 6% found it difficult to answer.

The nationwide poll, involving 3,000 people, was conducted on January 27-28. 

The presidential election will be held on March 18.

The director of the Center for Political Information, Alexei Mukhin, speaking with Vestnik Kavkaza, noted that there is a very high probability that the results of the presidential elections will be similar to this rating.

According to him, a number of candidates are able to change the proportion of votes in their favor. "We are watching carefully for Mr. Grudinin and Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who may surprise us," Alexei Mukhin said.
