SOCAR increases gas supplies to Georgia by 50 million cubic meters

Azerbaijan’s SOCAR has reached an agreement with the South Caucasus Pipeline and Shah Deniz consortiums to increase gas supplies to Georgia in the winter season.

“As a result of the agreement reached, gas supplies to Georgia in the winter season will be increased by 50 million cubic meters. The support for the Georgian side’s appeal is also indicative of the good-neighborly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia and serves as an undisputed basis for strengthening and developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the future,” Trend cited the official statement as saying.
