The head of of the Investment Department of SOCAR, Vagif Aliyev, said today that despite the low level of the world oil prices, the Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP) is still being built within the approved schedule.
"The World Bank and the European Investment Bank plan to give a loan in the amount of $ 2.13 billion to the BOTAŞ company, which has a 30% share in TANAP. The BOTAŞ will direct the allocated funds to build a 780-kilometer stretch of TANAP, Aliyev added.
