Schulz: implementation of sanctions policy against Russia is test for EU

Implementation of the sanctions policy is a matter for all EU institutions and a test of their credibility, the European Parliament President Martin Schulz told EU leaders on 20 October at the start of a two-day EU summit. 

Schulz added that judging by what they have seen over the past few days during consultations, including after the Normandy format talks, he doesn’t have an impression that there will be new sanctions against Russia, TASS reports.
