Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin told Russian President Vladimir Putin about the company's response to market volatility at a meeting.
"Indeed, during the crisis associated with the fall in hydrocarbon prices, the situation in recent years has developed with difficulty, but I am pleased to inform you that the company coped with the market volatility," Sechin said.
“The acquired stocks and acquired experience have allowed us to increase our investment program this year," he noted. "This year it will be approximately 30% more in comparison with last year’s and will be around 1 trillion rubles,” TASS cited Sechin as saying.
