The official presentation of St. Petersburg as of the organizing city of the 2020 UEFA Euro Cup will be held today at 11:30 (MSK).
It will be attended by the UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin, who will pay his first official visit to Russia in his capacity of the European governing body of football.
The Deputy Prime Minister, the head of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Vitaly Mutko and the Governor of Saint Petersburg, Georgy Poltavchenko, also will take part in the presentation.
Ceferin said that sure that when the St. Petersburg Stadium is ready, it will be one of the top arenas in Europe. St. Petersburg will be able to accommodate about 68,000 spectators.
The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2020, will be held in thirteen cities in thirteen different European countries during the summer of 2020.
