The head of Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov, accepted the resignation of the Minister of Physical Culture and Sport, Igor Lavrov.
The press service of the head of the region said that the relevant order was signed yesterday, noting that the head of the department "left the chair on his own initiative."
Lavrov became the Minister of Sport in October 2013.
