Unresolved conflicts in Nagorno-Karabakh, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transdniestria are not frozen, as they continue to bring hardship to the people and stagnation to the regions, the German Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairman, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, said in his article published in the Huffington Post.
"We want to stabilize the ceasefires, build trust and improve the day-to-day lives of the people by taking small but tangible steps," 1news.az cited him as saying.
Regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the German foreign minister noted that armed clashes along the line of contact and the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan give cause for concern.
"Germany is campaigning for an intensification of the negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group," Steinmeier stressed.
