Nineteen people have died because of the swine flu (H1N1) in Georgia this winter, the Georgian National Disease Control Centre says.
The most recent fatality took place yesterday, when a 32-year-old woman, who had just given birth, died in Kutaisi, Sputnik Georgia reported. Her baby is reported to be in stable condition.
The Georgian Health Ministry reports that currently 253 people are infected with flu per 100,000.
