Syrian army regains control over town of Rabia

Syrian government troops have managed to restore control over the town of Rabia in the province of Latakia in the north of the country.

"Armed forces backed by local militia groups took control of the town of Rabia and the village of Al-Rawda in the northern province of Latakia after the elimination of a number of terrorists," RIA Novosti cited a source as saying.
