Taimuraz Ahokhov was born in 1971 in Baksan. He graduated from the sociology faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Faculty of Law of Kabardino-Balkarian State University.
Since March 2015 he worked as Deputy Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of Kabardino-Balkaria, since November 2015 - head of the Office of the Federal Treasury for Kabardino-Balkaria, since November 2016 - Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic, since July 2017 - First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic.
