Russian Supreme Mufti Talgat Tajuddin will visit Dagestan on September 19 at the invitation of the head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdullatipov, to attend the major celebrations to mark the 2000th anniversary of the founding of Derbent.
"He plans to meet with the state, public and religious figures of the region," RIA Novosti reports.
