The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Fumio Kishida, and Iranian Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia have signed a bilateral investment agreement in Tokyo.
According to the Foreign Minister, the document is aimed at protection for Japanese companies investing in Iran as well as their assets.
"We intend to provide support to Japanese companies by improving the business environment, as well as make efforts to expand economic ties between Japan and Iran," TASS cited Fumio Kishida as saying.
