Tehran ready to resume dialogue with Riyadh

Iranian Ambassador to London Hamid Baeedinejad underlined that the Riyadh government needs to quit its anti-Iran policies in order to be able to resume diplomatic relations with Tehran.

"Saudis must acknowledge Iran's role in the region to resume diplomatic relations with the country," Baeedinejad said.

"Saudi Arabia ignores Iran's role in the region and tries to encourage other regional countries to follow the suit," Farsnews cited him as saying.

He underlined Iran did not attack any country but always has cooperated with others over past 300 years ago.
