The Saudi authorities are obliged to report to Iran on the results of the investigation of the crush that took place the day before in the Mina Valley near Mecca, in which 717 people were killed and more than 800 pilgrims were wounded. This statement was made by the first vice-president of Iran, Eskhad Jahangiri.
"Countries like Iran, that suffered so much, must have their own representatives in the investigation in order to determine the causes of the disaster and obtain assurance that it won’t happen again in the future," Interfax cites him as saying.
