German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere will visit Istanbul today to discuss the investigation of the terrorist attack at Sultanahmet Square in the center of Istanbul with representatives of the Turkish leadership.
The Interior Minister of Germany also plans to visit the scene of the incident and to hold a press conference following the consultations, Interfax reports.
At least 11 people were killed and 15 were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up near foreign tourists from Germany.
