The deputy director of the ANAS Institute of Geography, Elbrus Alizadeh, said that the situation is particularly dangerous in the southeastern part of the Greater Caucasus - Shamakhi, Ismayilli, Aghu, Khizi, Shabran, Siyazan and Guba, as well as a high threat of landslides is observed in the Lerik-Lankaran-Yardimli and Ganja zones.
"The landslide is reaching the Gobustan-Shamakhi part of the Baku-Shamakhi highway in the 106-107th km. The threat of landslides will remain high at least for a week,” APA cited him as saying.
