Iran’s Agriculture Ministry has confirmed Russian Agriculture Minister Alexander Tkachev’s visit to Tehran on January 19.
"Russian Agriculture Minister Alexander Tkachev will arrive in Tehran on Tuesday for a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of Iran. The Russian Minister of Agriculture will be accompanied by a delegation that will hold several meetings with Iranian counterparts," RIA Novosti cited the minister as saying.
"The sides are expected to sign the deal on dairy exports to Russia. Discussions will also be held on reducing customs duties to ease the export of Iranian goods to the Russian market," he added.
