Passenger cars will be temporarily allowed on the Transcaucasian highway from 14:30 Moscow Time, the Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for North Ossetia reported.
“The Transcaucasian highway will be temporarily opened from 14:30 to 17:00 Moscow time. Then all types of vehicles will be prohibited from moving there,” Interfax cited the statement as saying.
All types of vehicles have been prohibited to move along the Transcaucasian highway from 17:40 Moscow time due to avalanches.
