Trump comments on allegations of 'Russian connection'

Russian President Donald Trump said that Russian connection is an attempt to cover-up Hillary Clinton's mistakes.

"This Russian connection non-sense is merely an attempt to cover-up the many mistakes made in Hillary Clinton's losing campaign," Trump posted on his Twitter page.

Earlier, US officials told the New York Times that members of Trump’s presidential campaign and other Trump associates had repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election.

The Russian Foreign Ministry denied there had been any inappropriate contact between Trump representatives and Russian state.
