U.S. President Donald Trump has said that he plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G20 summit in Japan, scheduled for June 28-29.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Washington has not yet approached Moscow with an initiative to organize the meeting.
"So far, there have been no initiatives from Washington," TASS cited Peskov as saying.
Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov also said Moscow had received no requests from Washington for organizing a meeting between the two presidents.
