Turkey concerned about new wave of Syrian migrants

Turkey is concerned about a new wave of Syrian migrants arriving as a result of Russian air strikes, a spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Tanju Bilgich, said.

The diplomat noted that Turkey, which hosts more than 2 million migrants, is continuing talks with the alliance on enhancing its defense capabilities, including Patriot missile systems. But Turkey did not made a request for NATO to send it military forces, Tanju Bilgich stressed.
