Turkey does not intend to carry out ground operation in Syria

Ankara has no plans to conduct a ground operation in Syria, the head of the press service of the ruling Justice and Development Party, Omer Celik, said.

He noted that a ground operation can be carried out as part of a joint decision of the coalition forces. "Turkey is not considering a ground operation," Trend cited Celik as saying with reference to the TV channel Haberturk.
