Turkey will send humanitarian aid to Qatar using a new transit route that runs through Georgia, Azerbaijan and southern ports of Iran, Turkish media outlets reported.
This decision was made by Ankara due to the fact that sending humanitarian aid by plane is more expensive than using the new route.
Turkey sent food aid in the amount of 15,000 tons to Qatar on June 20.
