Turkey's Defense Minister Nurettin Canikli said 41 Turkish soldiers and 116 allied Syrian opposition force members have been killed so far in the cross-border offensive in the northwest Syrian enclave of Afrin.
According to Canikli, 95 residential areas on a 615 square-kilometer land and 28 critical positions have been taken under control, Anadolu Agency reported.
Turkey's offensive in Syria's Afrin was launched on January 20.
