Turkish low-cost airlines not to make flights to Azerbaijan

The Turkish low-cost airlines have suspended considering the issue of making flights to Azerbaijan, the vice-president of Azerbaijan Airlines, Arif Mammadov, said.

He explained that AZAL has sent a proposal to the Pegasus company to initiate low-cost flights to Gabala and Lankaran.

"They considered the offer but did not continue the negotiations, because Turkish Airlines makes flights to Nakhchivan and Ganja. Another Turkish low-cost airline Atlas Jet considered the possibility of making flights to Azerbaijan but also suspended the negotiations," Trend cited Mammadov as saying.

AZAL Vice-President added that Azerbaijan Airlines is going to support low-cost airlines which want to make flights to Azerbaijan.
