Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will start his two-day official visit to Qatar today .
He will hold talks with Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha, during which they will discuss the development of bilateral cooperation in the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The upcoming talks will focus on the issues of cooperation in oil and gas sectors, the chemical industry, trade, transport and communications, high technology, finance and investment, as well as tourism and construction.
The first official visit of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Qatar took place in October 2010.
