The French company AccorHotels has signed a contract with Iran to open two new hotels, Ibis and Novotel, near Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport, Fars news agency reports.
The French ambassador to Tehran, Bruno Foucher, noted on the sidelines of the signing of the contract that this event indicates the return of one of the largest international hotel groups to Iran.
The international airport of Imam Khomeini has strategic importance, and the presence of these brands is a positive step, which will pave the way for other French brands to enter Iran.
