U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper will travel to Europe next week to discuss with NATO allies efforts to deter Russia.
"Next week, I'll be traveling to Europe to meet with some of our NATO allies to discuss the U.S. posture in Europe and our ongoing efforts to deter Russian aggression," he told the briefing.
