Russia's S-400 missile defence systems and U.S. F-35 fighter jets cannot coexist in Turkey, the commander of U.S. European Command, Gen. Tod Wolters said.
"We are not going to have the S-400 coexist with the F-35 in Turkey," the Foreign Policy cited him as saying.
Wolters also said the foundation for an improved relationship with Turkey exists, though he encouraged Ankara to take the first steps.
