The United Arab Emirates stepped up its buying of Russian oil products in 2023, as the volume of its purchases from Russia increased fourfold - from $237.8 million up in 2022 to $971.4 million.
The UAE exports of Russia's coal have also increased to $75.3 million.
Mutual trade turnover between Russia and the UAE reached $11.2 bln in 2023, hitting a record level, according to the UAE Ministry of Economy.
