The US State Department has authorized a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the significant disruption of the trade of oil and antiquities to benefit IS.
The report said that through its illicit oil operations and trafficking in looted archaeological material, IS has generated millions of dollars, enabling it to brutalize and oppress innocent civilians.
The US Department of State expects $ 5 million will encourage individuals to come forward with information regarding persons or entities engaged in trade of oil and antiquities that would benefit IS.
