US State Department spokesman John Kirby said the country expects better communication with the Russian military in Syria.
"We’d like to see Russian military activity being used to support the delivery and aid of humanitarian assistance to people in need," Gazeta.ru cited him as saying.
At the same time, the representative of the US State Department noted that there might be better communication, if not coordination, with the Russian military in Syria.
