A 12th-13th century lead vessel shaped like a petal is set to be returned to Uzbekistan from a London gallery, according to the press service of the Uzbek Center for Islamic Civilization.
According to the center, the artifact, which dates to the Ghaznavid era, is currently held at the Orpheus Gallery in London.
"This unique find is finally returning to our country," the press service said.
Such vessels were widely used during that period, both in ceremonial rituals and as decorative elements in homes.
