Uzbekistan plans to open Central Asia's first Disneyland

The opening of the first Disneyland in Central Asia is planned in Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration, announced.

Mirziyeva discussed the opening of the amusement park with Haima Washington, Vice President of The Walt Disney Company. The initiative aims to establish Uzbekistan as regional leader in children's media content while stimulating tourism growth, according to Mirziyoyeva.

Discussions included both theme park development and creative Cinema Park concepts designed to attract international film and animation production.

Disneyland amusement parks have opened in the USA, France, Japan, and China.
