Preparations for the presidential elections scheduled for December 4, are nearing completion in Uzbekistan.
The Central Election Commission has registered four presidential candidates including the nation’s acting president, Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyoyev and leaders of the country’s political parties.
14 district election commissions were formed in Uzbekistan, 9381 thousand polling stations were established, including 44 in the republic's representations in 36 countries. The election commissions made complete lists of voters, which include 21.4 million people, RIA Novosti reports.
The Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan have previously reported that about 600 international observers will monitor the presidential elections.
