Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has appointed Vecdi Gonul the country’s new defense minister.
Vecdi Genyul has already worked in this position from 2002 to 2011. Former Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz was appointed the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, RIA Novosti cited Zaman newspaper as saying.
