A delegation from Uzbekistan, headed by the first deputy of the Oliy Majlis Senate Sodiq Safoyev, arrived in Georgia. It also includes representatives of the Uzbek Railways, the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations.
The delegation of Uzbekistan met with the Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Georgi Gakharia. They discussed the prospects of cooperation in tourism, communications and foreign trade, Sputnik-Georgia reports.
The members of the Uzbek delegation were also received by the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze.
