US Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland held the consultations with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.
The US embassy in Moscow said Nuland has already held consultations with the Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov on the situation in eastern Ukraine, TASS reports.
