Speaker of Russia’s State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has been re-elected as the chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly during Assembly Council’s meeting in Yerevan today.
Volodin’s candidacy was proposed by speaker of the Kyrgyz parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov. The proposal was unanimously supported by all members of the CSTO PA Council, News.am reported.
Volodin was also elected as the chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly in 2016.
