Water tariffs may be increased in Armenia, the press office of Veolia Jur, a subsidiary of France’s Veolia Generale des Eaux and the only water-supply operator in Armenia, said.
The company intends to appeal to the Public Services Regulatory Committee of Armenia to raise water tariffs.
Veolia Jur wants to increase consume price for one cubic meter of water to 194.3 drams from the present 180 drams ($0.37), ARKA reported.
The committee will make its decision within 90 days.
