A number of key OPEC countries, including Saudi Arabia, may support special conditions for Iraq in a deal to cut oil production, a source in the delegation of an OPEC member country said.
Iraqi Oil Minister Jabar Ali al-Luaibi said that it will not likely reduce oil output because it needs funds to keep up its battle against ISIS. “We are fighting a vicious war against ISIS,” he said, adding that Iraq should get the same oil production exemption as Nigeria and Libya.
