Wizz Air launches direct flights between Kutaisi and Bratislava

The Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has inaugurated its first direct service between Georgia and Slovakia, with the inaugural flight from Kutaisi to Bratislava operating on Monday, January 12.

Direct flights on the route will operate three times weekly until the end of the winter schedule, increasing to four flights per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays) starting in March, according to United Airports of Georgia. The route is serviced by Airbus A321neo aircraft.

This new connection marks the establishment of the first-ever direct air link between Georgia and Slovakia.
