Women aged between 20 and 46 years old may begin to serve in the Turkish army. The Turkish Defense Ministry is working on the corresponding bill.
Turkish citizens can pay 18 thousand Turkish liras to be exempted from the mandatory military services, Trend reports.
Earlier, the Defense Minister of Turkey Ismet Yilmaz said that these payments will be credited to the Fund of the defense industry of the country.
