Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili said the fact that the World Bank has raised Georgia’s position in a global income ranking to reflect the increase in the average income of Georgian citizens is an important milestone.
"Georgia has not had such an improvement for the last 15 years. This is important in view of our country's international investment image and raising awareness of Georgia," the Prime Minister said.
According to him, the classification offered by the World Bank is based upon the amount of the gross national income per capita.
