Ukrainian gymnast, world champion, three-time European champion, two-time champion of the first European Games, Oleg Verniaiev, said that it is always a pleasure for him to visit Baku, because he has many friends here, although it's his only second visit to Azerbaijan.
"When we were invited to the World Cup, I think that we cannot do it, because the coach was set to exercise. But when I came into the sports hall and told him about the invitation, I saw that he was interested. We've organized everything quickly and came here," he said.
As Oleg Verniaiev noted that at the moment, Ukraine team's first priority is to get the Olympics license.
According to the gymnast, Baku deserves to hold the World Cups in future, which will be qualifying for the Olympic Games, Trend reports.
