An Austrian airline is claiming to have launched the shortest international flight - taking just eight minutes.
The quick trip, being sold by People's Viennaline, takes passengers from St Gallen in Switzerland to Friedrichshafen in Germany.
Tickets for the 13-mile journey - which will operate twice daily from November 2 - will cost £34 (€40).
At present, people travelling between the two countries - partitioned by Lake Constance - can drive 77km (47 miles), which takes about an hour.
A 50-seat Embraer 145 aircraft will be used for the new route, which will run ten times a week, Daily Mail reports.
Previously, the route between the Austrian capital of Vienna and the Slovak capital of Bratislava was the shortest international schedule. However, the ten-minute trip is no longer operational anymore.
