Writer Guram Dochanashvili passed away. He was taken to New Hospitals yesterday, where he was placed in the intensive care unit, InterPressNews reports.
Guram Dochanashvili was born on March 26, 1939 in Tbilisi. He graduated from the Faculty of History of Tbilisi State University in 1962. In 1968 Guram Dochanashvili was admitted to the Writers' Union. Guram Dochanashvili's first short stories were published in 1961 in the magazine "Tsiskari". Dochanashvili is a laureate of the literary award "Saba" in the nomination for outstanding contribution to the development of literature.
