The main issue on the agenda of the NATO-Russia Council meeting on July 13 will be the decisions of the Alliance’s Warsaw summit on the NATO military build-up "on the eastern flank," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
"The central theme at the meeting will be the decisions of the Alliance’s July 8-9 summit in Warsaw on the further NATO military build-up on the "eastern flank" of the Alliance and their impact on European security," TASS cited her as saying.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman noted that the discussion will also focus on the Ukrainian crisis settlement, the situation in Afghanistan and the regional terrorist threats.
"The Russian side intends to initiate the discussion on the so-called ‘Niinisto plan’ on strengthening aviation security in the Baltic Sea region," Zakharova added.
