A high-level meeting of officials from Russia, the United States and the United Nations is due to take place in Geneva next week to discuss the Syrian crisis, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during a weekly briefing.
"Russia will continue to promote this development in a variety of formats, and from this angle we are preparing our participation in a trilateral high-level Russia-US-UN meeting next week," Sputnik cited Zakharova as saying.
